Providing Students a World-Class Education

What is STEM?

The Norwalk City School District serves more than 2,600 students in grades preschool through twelve. Throughout our district, academic excellence is supported by an experienced, qualified, and innovative staff. Students have many opportunities to take rigorous courses in the core areas as well as music, art, technology, and foreign languages.

Beginning in second grade students interested in technology will benefit from our Lego lab, STEM labs, Project Lead the Way, and the broad availability of computers. In addition to earning credits for high school graduation, students can choose from Advanced Placement (AP) courses at Norwalk High School and College Credit Plus (CCP) courses offered on and off campus.

Our graduates whether on a college or workforce track are well-prepared and well-rounded by the many curricular and extracurricular opportunities offered through the Norwalk City School District.
