Science Fair at Main St
45 students participate
The entire Main St sixth grade sixth was invited to participate in the individual science research project. Forty-five sixth graders presented a science project. Projects were developed in February with students collaborating weekly with their teachers. Students kept a Science Fair Journal documenting their progress and observations. The science fair project was in addition to completing their regular science curriculum. These project focused on 21st century thinking skills that will be the introduced with the new Ohio Science Standards starting next year.
The first science fair at Main Street School was deemed a wonderful success by all who attended. Well done 6th grade students and their science teachers!
